According Britannica, the back story behind this popular board game was to illustrate the potential exploitation of tenants by greedy landlords.

The winning bidder's investment contributes to the Town of Apex Play It Forward scholarship fund, helping reduce financial barriers to participate in town programs.

Stop by the Apex Senior Center, December 5th when you attend the town tree lighting to see which entries won this year's Apex Rotary Gingerbread Contest! #apexrotaryclub The annual tree lighting for Apex is located at Town Hall Campus this year. Shop our Apex Snow Stroll Store from December 5-14. Reward true Apex Enthusiasts! Purchase anytime by scanning the QR codes on our door or through the link on our socials. Pick up your purchases M-F from 9-5. While you are downtown, engage, shop and dine at each snow stroll destination. Look for snowmen outside their door to signal a stop. The merchant's have decorated their windows. Collect stamps at each location you visit to fill your passport. 6 stamps= 1 entry in a raffle for goodies donated by participating downtown merchants. Be sure to submitted your completed passport by Monday, December 15 to win.
