A 150 Year Story of Conversion, Reward & Reflection

On February 28^th, 2023 The Town of Apex launched a year-long celebration to commemorate its 150-year history.

150 years of history provides a lot of stories to tell!

Our town's communications department created activities for residents and visitors to attend. Activities were designed to capture the back story of who Apex was, who Apex is now and where Apex can go.  This website captures the entire story of the town’s past, present and potential.

What's a story, without a book? To fully engage, a passport book was distributed as a way to experience & record the town's back story. Worldwide travel requires a passport, stamped each time you land in a different country. Similarly each time participants celebrated an event they received another sticker for their book. Increasing engagement provided more opportunities to earn prizes. Reaching our potential, relies on reflection. The book provided interactive pages to reflect on your personal journey. Our team worked closely with the town’s communication team to select and craft products.

Along the celebration experience, the journey for some participants reinforced why Apex is the Peak of Good Living and for others, the journey converted new peak enthusiasts.
