What started out as a simple request changed after we began collaboration. WakeMed asked for a nice quality beach towel as a gift for board members. We showed them several quality options with a full color, full bleed imprint area. I suggested that we get creative with the surface by creating a beach scene featuring WakeMed branded products. Not only was the towel a functional gift, but the clever use of graphic design became a marketing strategy, advertising and growing awareness for their brand.
